Five WPGA Professionals Set To Compete In The 54th PGA Professional Championship

The 2021 PGA Professional Championship kicks off on Sunday, April 25 at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL. The championship returns after the 2020 version was canceled due to Covid-19. The Wisconsin PGA will be represented by five professionals in this year’s 312 player field. Each individual earned a spot into the event with their play at the Wisconsin PGA Professional Championship last September.

WPGA Junior Foundation Announces Open Registration For 2021 Tournaments

The Wisconsin Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (WPGA) Junior Foundation (https://www.wiscjuniorgolf.com/) announces open registration for the Junior Golf Tournament Series in timing with the start of one of the biggest seasons for golf in Wisconsin.

Open registration for the WPGA Junior Golf Tournament Series begins April 20. Registration for members began March 31 and registration is currently pacing at a record pace.

The WPGA kicked off its 2021 in-state tournament season with the annual Spring Pro-Pro Scramble on Monday. A field of 98 players teed it up in breezy and partly sunny conditions at Kettle Moraine GC in Dousman. The annual event is always a chance to knock off a little rust and see who can make the most birdies and eagles on the way to a win.

Lady Luck Shines On Schnarr & Company

The 2021 WPGA Las Vegas Pro-Am came to a close last Thursday after four days of golf, camaraderie and entertainment. The event made its return to the WPGA schedule after a one year hiatus and the 49 teams that were in attendance welcomed it back with open arms. This year’s trip featured lodging at The Mirage Hotel & Casino with rounds at Cascata, Rio Secco GC and TPC Las Vegas. Teams represented 37 different facilities from throughout Wisconsin and the amateur attendees came from 12 different states.

Wisconsin PGA to award a Wisconsin State Open Exemption to the Wisconsin State Women’s Open Champion

The Wisconsin Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (WPGA) announces an additional exemption for the 2021 Wisconsin State Open Championship. The WPGA Tournament Policy Board voted unanimously to provide the 2021 Wisconsin State Women’s Open Champion with an exemption into the field for the 101st Suter Ward Group at Morgan Stanley Wisconsin State Open hosted on August 16-18 at Blackwolf Run – Meadow Valleys (Kohler) & Pine Hills Country Club (Sheboygan).
