A Big Battle for the Title at Blackhawk

The WPGA Four-Player Pro-Am Series was back on-course for its third event in the past five weeks on Monday. After starting the year at West Bend, Kohler and Eau Claire, it was fitting that the series would stop in Madison. Hosting the Madison area site was former yearly pro-am host, Blackhawk CC. As for event partners, The Suter Ward Group at Morgan Stanley and Tito’s Vodka teamed up to enhance the day.

In his seventh try Mick Smith found the success he had been seeking at the Hornung’s Classic on Monday. The Australian along with 86 other WPGA professionals teed it up at the 54th edition of the event at South Hills G&CC. The field was stacked with the top players in the Section, which forced him to be on top of his game to get the win.
