After being cancelled in 2020, the WPGA / WGCSA Premier Golf & Utility Vehicles Super-Pro was back in action on Wednesday. The field of sixty-two players from various facilities made the trek to Wild Rock GC in Wisconsin Dells to enjoy the day. Twenty-two teams were set to compete in the traditional division of play, featuring one WPGA affiliated professional and one WGCSA member from the same facility. The second division was made up of nine teams, which included all other teams including a pro/super team that did not have a handicap index.

This year’s series features eight regular season contests and the season ending Oliphant Golf Management Pro-Am Championship. The events have been in high demand and currently the Horseshoe Bay event in September is the only pro-am that does not have at least 25 teams registered.
Read More »The 2021 PGA Professional Championship kicks off on Sunday, April 25 at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL. The championship returns after the 2020 version was canceled due to Covid-19. The Wisconsin PGA will be represented by five professionals in this year’s 312 player field. Each individual earned a spot into the event with their play at the Wisconsin PGA Professional Championship last September.

Open registration for the WPGA Junior Golf Tournament Series begins April 20. Registration for members began March 31 and registration is currently pacing at a record pace.

Last week presented teams with the tough task of navigating what club to hit in breezy conditions, while this week it was all about staying warm. With plenty of knit caps in sight, it was a chilly battle for the sold out field of 52 teams.
Read More »The WPGA kicked off its 2021 in-state tournament season with the annual Spring Pro-Pro Scramble on Monday. A field of 98 players teed it up in breezy and partly sunny conditions at Kettle Moraine GC in Dousman. The annual event is always a chance to knock off a little rust and see who can make the most birdies and eagles on the way to a win.
