Monday marked back-to-back weeks for the WPGA Pro-Am Four-Player Pro-Am Series. After the rescheduled Suter Ward Group at Morgan Stanley Pro-Am kicked off the month of July last week, the series made the trek to Stevens Point CC for the Wilson Golf Pro-Am. One of the casualties of the inclement weather in June was the playing of the Suter Ward Group at Morgan Stanley Pro-Am at Bishops Bay CC. The Morningstar GC head PGA Professional would cap off a run of seven straight days of competitive golf by teeing it up in the 53rd Hornung’s Classic at South Hills G&CC. If it wasn’t for a pro-am rainout on the Monday prior, Crowley could have tacked on another day to the streak.

Read More »The annual Wisconsin PGA Pro-Ladies series would make its first appearance of 2024 on Tuesday. A sold-out field of 24 fivesomes would venture to The Legend at Bristlecone in Hartland for a fun day of camaraderie and golf. The two-event series would take on a small twist in 2024, as Tuesday would feature the traditional one professional and four lady amateur format, while the Summer edition in August is going to have teams of four.

Read More »With a doom and gloom forecast, the odds of completing the XXIO Double Dip Pro-Am at the beginning of Monday were not looking good. Fortunately for the participants that made the trek to Oneida G&CC, the storms would stay away just enough for the event to be completed. The event did feature a short delay prior to play starting but overall it turned out to be a very tolerable day.
