The dual team formats would include each foursome participating in a two net best ball event. Then the professional on the team would be paired up with each amateur in a one net of two game. With the Suter Ward Group at Morgan Stanley Wisconsin State Open taking place in August, the event would temporarily shift to mid-May. It marked the fifth time that the event would be played on the Meadow Valleys Course at Blackwolf Run.
