The 2022 PGA Professional Championship kicks off on Sunday, April 17 at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, TX. The Wisconsin PGA will be represented by five professionals in this year’s 312 player field. Each individual earned a spot into the event with their play at the Wisconsin PGA Professional Championship last September.

The WPGA Las Vegas Pro-Am wrapped up this past Thursday after four days of golf, camaraderie and entertainment. A sold-out field of 50 teams, made up of one professional and four amateurs, ventured to sin city to enjoy the week. Registration for the trip was so sought after that it sold out within an hour of opening up. This year’s trip featured lodging at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, with rounds at Cascata, the Paiute Golf Resort’s Wolf Course, and TPC Las Vegas.

The Wisconsin Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (WPGA) announces their 2022 Special Award Winners acknowledging exemplary service, dedication and accomplishments in golf. Eleven golf professionals from the section have been selected for their great accomplishments on and off the course and will receive their awards during the annual WPGA Spring Meeting to be held at The Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells on March 7.

West Allis, Wis. – The Wisconsin PGA is pleased to roll out its tournament schedule for its centennial year. It will be another exciting year of competitive golf as the calendar features more than 40 playing opportunities. The calendar of events will kick off with the annual WPGA Las Vegas Pro-Am in March and conclude with the Fall Pro-Pro Scramble in mid-October.

The Wisconsin Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (WPGA) is pleased to announce our 2021 Players of the Year. After a shortened season in 2020, a full slate of point-eligible events was on this year’s WPGA calendar. After receiving the news in late June, it was finally time for Mike Muranyi to take his official place in the Wisconsin Golf Hall of Fame. On the evening of October 30 a group of family, friends, and several others from the golf community gathered at Milwaukee Country Club to honor Muranyi and fellow inductee Jim Reinhart.
