About the Wisconsin PGA

The Wisconsin Section is one of the 41 sections that comprise the regional entities of the PGA of America. Over 600 members and associates belong to the Wisconsin Section, stretching from areas in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to almost the entire state of Wisconsin. Annually, the Wisconsin Section conducts over 40 professional events, operates their foundation – PGA REACH Wisconsin, and participates in several growth-of-the-game activities including PGA Jr. League, Drive, Chip and Putt and PGA HOPE. Wisconsin PGA Office is located at 11350 W. Theo Trecker Way in West Allis, Wis.

A field of 31 PGA associates and A-8 PGA members competed in the Wisconsin PGA Assistant Professional Spring Classic on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Oakwood Park Golf Course. The 18-hole stroke-play event marked the second assistant professional event of the 2026 season and was played under ideal scoring conditions, with temperatures in the mid-70s and a light breeze throughout the day.

🏆 Another Win for Jeffrey Perry! 🏆

Jeffrey Perry continued his impressive 2026 season on Monday, capturing his second individual victory of the year at the 55th Hornung's Classic.

The assistant professional from Whistling Straits carded a brilliant 6-under-par 65, ...highlighted by seven birdies, to secure a two-shot victory at South Hills Golf & Country Club.

Perry finished ahead of Barrett Kelpin and Tim Pridemore, who tied for second place. Along with the title, Perry earned a total of $1,945 for his outstanding performance.

In the Senior Professional Division, Pat Gorman led the way, posting an even-par 71 to earn top senior honors.

Thank you to the Hornung family and Hornung's Golf Products for their continued support of the Wisconsin PGA and this longstanding event. We also extend our gratitude to South Hills Golf & Country Club for its outstanding hospitality and for hosting another successful tournament.

Jeffrey Perry gets the job done once again!

The @golfkohler assistant professional picked up his second individual victory of 2026 on Monday—and it’s only early June.

He piled up seven birdies en route to a 6-under-par 65 to claim the title at the 55th Hornung's Classic ...at @southhillsfdl.

The score was good enough to deliver him a two-shot win over Barrett Kelpin and Tim Pridemore.

A big thank you goes out to the Hornung family and Hornung's Golf Products for their unwavering support of the Wisconsin PGA and the annual tournament. We'd also like to express our appreciation to South Hills G&CC for being a gracious host.
