Sentry Wisconsin State Women’s Open Player Info & Tee Times – 2024

Dear Players,

Thank you for your support of the Sentry Wisconsin State Women’s Open. We are looking forward to a great event at Meadowbrook Country Club next week. Below you will find several important items and a link to your round one tee time. We ask that you give this a quick read and come informed. Best of luck next week.

WISCONSIN PGA APP & SCORING
Scoring & Wisconsin PGA App – EVERY PLAYER WILL BE ELECTRONIC SCORING VIA THEIR PHONE. Scoring will be done in the Wisconsin PGA App and all players must have a smartphone or mobile internet connected mobile device. Players will be tracking another player’s score and their own via the App. If a player has an issue having access to a device, please address it with us in advance.

If you do not have the Wisconsin PGA App on your smartphone or mobile device, please download it (It is different from the WPGA Junior Foundation or the Wisconsin State Golf Association App).

It will be required to score the event. Players and spectators can also access live results via the App.

A scoring access code will be sent out via text on Monday morning to the cell phone number you supplied during registration. The code will give you access to your electronic scorecard.

Phone – Please have phones fully charged and possibly bring a portable battery charger if you normally have battery issues.

Tracking Your Own Score – We will have paper scorecards that players may use to track their own score in case we have an electronic failure.

Scoring Table – All players must confirm their score with a WPGA official and their fellow playing competitors at the conclusion of the round. This will be done next to the golf shop entrance.

IMPORTANT DAY OF ITEMS
Registration will take place on your starting tee. Please arrive 5 minutes before your starting time for instructions.

Practice Range Balls are provided as a part of the entry fee. The Meadowbrook CC range is located on the backside of the clubhouse, next to no. 10 tee box.

Hole Locations & Local Rules – The hole location and rules sheet will be posted on the event webpage at least 12 hours in advance of the event. Paper copies will be provided on your starting tee and all the information will be available in the WPGA app.

RECAP OF EVENT POLICIES
Walking / Riding – Contestants may use a golf car, a push cart or carry their own bag. Caddies are allowed whether a player walks or rides. Two golf cars per group maximum. Keep in mind ONLY PLAYERS will be allowed to ride in or on the golf cars. Per Meadowbrook CC’s rule all operators must have a valid driver’s license.

The following players have paid for a golf car for the first two rounds of play – Jessica Guiser, Madison Haugen, Payton Haugen, Rachel Montaba, AJ Powell, Margo Rogers-Anderson and Carly Werwie-Swartz

Any player that makes the cut and wishes to take a golf car on Wednesday will pay a $25 fee to the golf shop prior to their round three tee time.

NO SPECTATOR GOLF CARS, however, Meadowbrook CC will be renting a limited number of spectator carts for disabled / handicapped individuals. Please inquire with Meadowbrook CC’s PGA Professionals on staff, Jason Samuelian or Eric Hertel, for availability. The price will be $25 plus tax per day.

Caddies & Spectators are permitted. No restrictions, other than spectators should stay off to the side and keep up with the group they are following.

OTHER INFORMATION
Food & Beverage – Meadowbook CC will have limited food & beverage service on Monday. Their pool snack window will be open for purchases, in addition to snacks and beverages in the golf shop. The restaurant will be open for full service on Tuesday and Wednesday. They accept cash or credit cards. The club will also have complimentary bottled water stations on course for players and caddies.

36-Hole Cut – The field will be cut to the low 24 scores and ties after round 2. All players making the cut will receive a prize.

Tuesday & Wednesday Pairings – Second Round Pairings will start at 8:00 AM on Tuesday off #1 and #10. Third Round Pairings will start at 7:30 AM on Wednesday off #1. Players will be repaired by score for each round. Those pairings will be sent out via text and email when they are available.
