About the Wisconsin PGA
The Wisconsin Section is one of the 41 sections that comprise the regional entities of the PGA of America. Over 500 members and associates belong to the Wisconsin Section, stretching from areas in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to almost the entire state of Wisconsin. Annually, the Wisconsin Section conducts over 40 professional events, operates their foundation – PGA Reach Wisconsin, and participates in several growth-of-the-game activities including PGA Junior League, Drive, Chip and Putt and PGA HOPE. Wisconsin PGA Office is located at 11350 W. Theo Trecker Way in West Allis, Wis.

Four WPGA Members Tee It Up At The Senior PGA Professional Championship
The 36th Senior PGA Professional Championship will kick off on Thursday, September 26. This year's championship heads west as it will be hosted on the Meadows and Woodlands at Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Oregon.

The countdown continued on Monday to the end of the Wisconsin PGA tournament season. The Fall Pro-Pro Scramble supported by Harris Golf Cars, Antigua Apparel & Sterling Cut Glass visited Hawk's View Golf Club for the second to last event on the 2024 calendar.
We were fortunate to ...have another nice fall day, as a sold-out field enjoyed the always fun Como Crossings course.
Once again the two-player scramble format presented the fun risk and reward proposition. It wasn't a matter of if birdies and eagles would be made, it was how many you could pile up to have a chance to win.
For the second straight season the event ended in a tie at the top. The Michael Nagy (TPC Wisconsin) and Blake Jens (Blackhawk Country Club, Madison WI) duo matched the Andy Hansen (The University Club of Milwaukee) and Andrew Troyanek (Rivermoor Golf Club) team. Each squad carded an 11-under-par 61.
Jens and Nagy would make eleven birdies on the way to the winning mark, while Hansen and Troyanek rolled in seven birdies and two eagles.
The co-champions would split the prize money of the top two spots, however Jens and Nagy would get the Sterling Cut Glass hardware via a scorecard playoff.
The WPGA would like to thank all three of our event partners for their gracious support and also everyone at Hawk's View GC for being a terrific host.

Big congratulations to Michael Nagy and Blake Jens, plus Andy Hansen and Andrew Troyanek. They were crowned co-champions of the Fall Pro-Pro Scramble yesterday! Both teams shot -11 (61) at Hawk’s View Golf Club. Nagy and Jens also took home some Sterling Cut Glass and a little extra bragging ...rights via the scorecard playoff for trophies. We take a look back to Monday and the conclusion of our 2024 pro-am series. For the 9th straight season we would wrap up the always fun pro-amateur events with the playing of the Oliphant Golf Management Pro-Am Championship.
It turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day on the Links ...Course at The Golf Courses of Lawsonia. The field of 29 foursomes had to once again earn their way into the field. Over the course of the season there were nine opportunities to qualify, the eight regular season four-player pro-ams and the WPGA Summer Pro-Ladies. The final few teams to round out the field were made up of sponsor invitations.
Pocketing this year's title with an impressive score of 170 stableford points was the Bishops Bay Country Club team of Kyle Kroener, Eric Suemnicht, Kollin Kroener and Mitchell Listau. In a team format where the low three net balls per hole counted, the par 5 performance is always key. The winning team excelled in that area as they piled up 72 points on the five par 5s. Propelled by six natural birdies and two eagles.
Finishing in second place 10 points behind the Bishops Bay squad was the John Knoll led team of John Dahmen, Seth Sneider and Justin Bates.
In the low pro stableford game the duo of Brian Brodell and Michael Crowley would get hot and never look back. Their bogey-free 8-under-par 64s would set the pace, earning them 52 points each.
Once again a great deal of appreciation goes out to everyone at Oliphant Golf and The GC’s of Lawsonia. The staff and club always takes pride in showcasing the Links Course on this day. The newly renovated bunkers and terrific course conditions certainly caught the eye of all the attendees.

Congratulations to the winners of the Oliphant Golf Management Pro-Am Championship! The team of Eric Suemnicht, Kollin Kroener, Kyle Kroener, and Mitchell Listau took home some hardware Monday! With a combined 170 Stableford points at the Golf Course’s of Lawsonia (Links) they were able to secure... the title. The tournament is set to take place at Congressional Country Club in Maryland, May 22-25, 2025. Both of these gentlemen will be making their second appearance. Wisconsin natives Tim... Cantwell Jr (South Florida Section) and Derek Stendahl (Minnesota Section) also qualified for the event in May.
