On Friday, April 24 the WPGA announced the “Wisconsin PGA Course Logo Challenge” via our social media channels. Thirty-two different courses from throughout the Wisconsin Section had their logo selected to be part of the challenge. Voting took place on Instagram and Twitter.  The challenge included four sub-brackets (Private, Public, Resort & Wild Card) over four – three day stretches, and then the final four and finals took place on the final two days of the two-week period.  Each matchup had a 24 hour voting period.

A big congratulations goes out to Maple Bluff CC on their victory. The final hurdle for the old school green maple leaf was navigating its way past the incredibly detailed Whistling Straits logo. The match up was a tough one but in the end MBCC was able to pull out the win with 444 votes to 386.

The private club on the east side of Madison did a great job of getting out the vote in all the rounds, defeating plenty of great logos / clubs. In the coming weeks the club will be honored with a nice memento for their trophy cabinet.

Thank you to everyone that took the time to vote.  Over 13,500 votes were placed between Twitter and Instagram.
