The 47th playing of the National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship will visit PGA Golf Club on Thursday-Sunday, November 16-19. This year’s championship will venture back to the Port St. Lucie, FL club for the 28th straight year.

The 132-player field includes Assistant Professional PGA Members or registered Assistant Professional PGA Associates that have advanced into at least level two of the PGA PGM Education Program. All 41 PGA sections will be represented this week.

Over course of the 72-hole event, professionals will be battling it out for a  total purse of $165,000, with $12,500 going home with the champion.

Before claiming the top prize the champion will have to navigate their way by the 36 hole cut, when the field is trimmed to the low 70 players and ties.

Representing the Wisconsin PGA will be David Bach of Whistling Straits and Josh Grisa of Blackwolf Run. The Kohler Golf duo were each able to earn their spot in the field via their play at the Wisconsin Assistants Championship in July.

Bach will be making his third straight appearance at the national event, while Grisa is making his debut at the event.
