The 2025 Wisconsin PGA tournament season came to a close on Monday at Trappers Turn GC in Wisconsin Dells. A sold-out field of 56 twosomes came out to enjoy the Premier Golf & Utility Vehicles Fall Pro-Pro Scramble. The event marked the 48th event of the 2025 season.
The players were again treated to some nice fall weather, as September and October provided some of the best days of the season. Taking into account the weather and the great course conditions on the Arbor and Lake nines, the players knew they’d have to put up some really low red numbers to have a chance for victory.
With the event being a shotgun start, the day was filled with scoreboard watching. Numerous teams took their turn at the top leaderboard. The scoring was so tight that no team took more than a one shot lead at any point during the day.
Taking into account that fact, it was no surprise that the event produced co-champions. The Washington County GC duo of Tim Pridemore and Craig Czerniejewski closed with a flurry of birdies to match the Jason and David Bach team from Whistling Straits.
Both teams carded a 12-under-par 60 in the two player scramble format. Their scorecards were bogey-free and each featured an eagle on the par-5 2nd and 10 birdies. With the tournament on the line, Czerniejewski and Pridemore finished their round with four straight birdies, while the Bachs made two-in-row to close out their scoring.
Finishing alone in third place was Jamie Christianson and Mick Smith, just one shot back.
Producing some additional excitement was Matt Hartmann of Blackhawk CC. Hartmann made a hole-in-one on Lake no. 6 with a 5-iron from 199 yards.
In addition to the skin money and a great memory, Hartmann also took home one of the closest to the pin prizes. All the winners were awarded a Mini Wingman Speaker from Bushnell Golf.
Proxy Prize – Par 3 Winners
#3 Arbor – Mark Kolb
#7 Arbor – Jamie Christianson
#4 Lake – Brad Lanning

The WPGA would like to express its gratitude to all four of our event partners for Monday’s event. Premier Golf & Utility Vehicles, Bushnell Golf, Antigua, and Tagmarshal, helped to put together a well-rounded mix of enhancements to benefit all the attendees.
We’d also like to thank and recognize Trappers Turn and their staff for hosting. The club stepped up to the plate in early September when a substitute host site was needed. Between the course conditions and a great after-play meal, the club did a nice job of showcasing their facility.
