Madison native Jim Schuman will tackle a field of the best professional golfers 50 and older this week, as he tees it up at the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The reigning 3-time WPGA Senior Player of the Year will be making his third appearance in the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. Schuman along with 34 other PGA Professionals earned a spot in the championship through their great play last September at the 2017 Senior PGA Professional Championship at Desert Mountain.

The director of instruction at Blue Mound G&CC will tee off No. 10 at 9:10 AM (EST) on Thursday will Billy Mayfair and John Harris. His starting time will then head to the afternoon on Friday as he will hit the course with the same playing partners at 2:20 PM off No. 1.

Joining Schuman in the field is brother-in-law and fellow WPGA member, Jerry Kelly. The 3-time PGA Tour Champions winner is currently 5th on the Charles Schwab Cup standings and will be looking to capture his first major on the senior circuit.
