Madison native Jim Schuman will tackle a field of the top professional and amateur golfers 50 and older this week, as he ventures west for the U.S. Senior Open at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Co. Schuman was able to punch his ticket into the field for the second straight season by being the lone qualifier out of the Wisconsin local qualifier a few weeks back at The Bog. The Blue Mound G&CC director of instruction will look to duplicate his performance from a year ago when he was able to finish in a tie for 49th at Salem CC.

Schuman will tee off No. 1 at 12:40 PM (MDT) on Thursday will Gerry Norquist and Bob Harrington. His starting time will then head to the morning on Friday as he will hit the course with the same playing partners at 7:10 AM off No. 10.

Joining Schuman in the field is brother-in-law and fellow WPGA member, Jerry Kelly. The 3-time PGA Tour Champions winner is coming off a 2nd place finish at the American Family Insurance Championship and will be looking to capture his first major on the senior circuit.

Live scoring will be available throughout the event by clicking on the image above, while the Fox and Fox Sports One will have televised coverage throughout the four days.
