The 2026 Double Dip Pro-Am brought twenty-nine Wisconsin PGA professionals and their amateur partners to Oneida Golf & Country Club on Monday, May 18, for a full day of competition, camaraderie, and ideal spring golf weather in northeast Wisconsin.
This year’s event marked the third time in the past six years that Oneida Golf & Country Club has hosted the four-player pro-am series.
Players were greeted by sunshine, comfortable temperatures, and calm winds that created excellent scoring conditions throughout the day.
The tournament’s “Double Dip” format added a unique competitive twist throughout the round. The four-player contest featured a two-of-four best ball competition, while each PGA professional in the group was also paired individually with each amateur teammate for a separate one-of-two best ball contest. The simultaneous formats kept every shot meaningful and created steady movement on the leaderboard from start to finish.
In the four-player competition, the team of Tim Pridemore, Tim Halverson, Dave Halverson, and Craig Podlesnik from Washington County Golf Course claimed the title with an impressive 20-under-par 124 total.
The top eligible four-player teams advancing to the Oliphant Golf Management Pro-Am Championship at the end of the season were led by Ryan Helminen of Ridgeway Country Club, Jon Zellmer from Lake Ripley Country Club, and Matt Sabol from Pine Hills Country Club.
Tying for the top spot in the one-of-two best ball contest were the twosomes of Helminen and Matt Butch, along with Pridemore and Tim Halverson. Each team carded a 9-under-par 63.
In the professional Stableford competitions, Michael Crowley delivered a standout performance, sweeping both the low professional and low senior professional divisions with 41 points after firing a 5-under-par 67. His round included seven birdies, underscoring one of the day’s most impressive individual performances.
Closest-to-the-pin contests added another layer of excitement across the course, with winners including TJ Andreson on Hole No. 3, Mike Delzer on No. 8, Max Borgardt on No. 11, Kyle Trimble on No. 13, and Kent Davyduke on No. 17.
The event was supported by a strong group of sponsors, including the American Family Insurance Championship, the Wisconsin State Golf Association, and the AndersonOrd Apparel, whose contributions helped elevate the tournament experience for players and participants throughout the day.
In addition, Oneida G&CC and their staff did a great job of ensuring that all the players were given a first-class experience from start to finish.
