The 48th playing of the National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship will visit PGA Golf Club on Thursday-Sunday, November 14-17. This year’s championship will venture back to the Port St. Lucie, FL club for the 29th straight year.

The 132-player field includes Assistant Professional PGA Members or registered Assistant Professional PGA Associates that have completed level one of the PGA PGM Education Program. All 41 PGA sections will be represented this week.

Over the course of the 72-hole event on the Wanamaker course, professionals will be battling it out for a total purse of $165,000.

Before claiming the top prize the champion will have to navigate their way by the 36 hole cut, when the field is trimmed to the low 70 players and ties.

Representing the Wisconsin PGA in Florida is Mike Nagy of TPC Wisconsin and Drew Ringelstetter of Destination Geneva National. Both men were able to punch their ticket to the championship via their impressive play at the Wisconsin Assistant PGA Professional Championship in July at Reedsburg CC. They each will be making their first appearance at the National Assistant PGA Professional Championship.
