The final trophy of the 2026 WPGA Pro-Am season has been claimed! Joe Leonard of The Oaks Golf Course and teammates Brian Wilsey, Tom Welch and Mike De Vries captured the Oliphant Golf Management Pro-Am Championship on the Links Course at Lawsonia on Monday, edging the Matt Sabol-led Pine Hills Country Club team by one shot.

The winning foursome posted an impressive 22-under-par 122 in the 1 Net and 1 Gross Best Ball format. While all four players made meaningful contributions to the team score, Leonard and Wilsey led the charge. Leonard made six natural birdies, while Wilsey enjoyed a career day with four net birdies, three net eagles and one net double eagle. Their outstanding performances helped give them their second pro-am victory of 2026.

Tim Pridemore of Washington County Golf Course led the low professional Stableford competition with a 6-under-par 66 for 42 points. While Michael Crowley of Ozaukee County Golf earned low senior professional honors, carding a 4-under-par 68 for 40 points.

Once again, the day was enhanced with some fun Closest to the Pin contests. Monday’s winners included professionals Jeff Kaiser on hole No. 4 and Brian Zinda on No. 7. Amateur honors went to Matt Evenson on No. 10, RJ Safranek on No. 12 and Bob Geary on No. 14.

In addition, Oliphant Golf Management provided some great raffle prizes for a random draw among the amateur participants. Jake Bartol, Adam Denk, Bob Geary, Rob Jansen, Bryan Laszinski, Eric Sampson, Andy Sturmberg, Brian Wilsey, Nick Zellmer all took home some new merchandise via the raffle.

The championship concluded a season featuring 10 qualifying events: eight regular-season four-player Pro-Ams and two four-player Pro-Ladies Pro-Ams.

The WPGA thanks Oliphant Golf Management for its continued title sponsorship and Lawsonia for hosting another outstanding pro-am championship. Their contributions and hospitality provided everyone with another great experience, as the season comes to a close.
