“Our efforts to engage a broad diversity of Milwaukee’s young people have gained phenomenal traction and next level status with this inaugural youth golf initiative in partnership with the Wisconsin PGA and First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin,” remarked MKE Fellows President John W. Daniels III. “Providing unique perspective, experience and access to golf’s international community, career multiverse and multi-billion dollar industry now has an access point at Currie Park Golf Course.”
The Fellowship Youth Open mimics the longstanding annual celebration and community gathering The Fellowship Open. For 22 years, friends and supporters who remain dedicated to serving young people in Milwaukee gather at The Fellowship Open. Supporters all share the core mission to acknowledge exceptional achievement and recognize outstanding leadership toward diversity, inclusion and youth empowerment.
“PGA REACH Wisconsin is thrilled to be a part of bringing this no-cost golf event to youth in the city of Milwaukee,” said Joe Stadler, PGA, executive director of PGA REACH Wisconsin. “Partnering with a group of like-minded organizations will create additional opportunities as we all seek to better diversify the game of golf.”
