WEST ALLIS, Wis. – The Wisconsin PGA Section seasonally hosts special golf events and lessons for veterans and active military members free of charge as part of the PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) initiative focused on enhancing the physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being of veterans through golf. PGA HOPE Wisconsin is the flagship military program of PGA REACH Wisconsin. Only Wisconsin PGA members and associates who have been certified through the PGA HOPE training program are able to teach the PGA HOPE clinics. PGA HOPE One-day Introductory Clinic For Veterans
Tuesday, May 31 – 11am to 12:30pm
This one-day clinic is hosted annually in timing with Memorial Day at The Legend at Bristlecone (1500 Arlene Dr., Hartland) on Tuesday, May 31 from 11am-12:30pm. Registration limited.

Memorial Day at The Legend Clubs
Tuesday, May 31
An annual tradition, WPGA member Jack Gaudion, PGA, Owner of The Legend Clubs, 2020 and 2022 WPGA Patriot Award Winner and avid supporter of veterans and their families, invites veterans to enjoy a complimentary round of golf during Veterans Play Free Day at The Legend Clubs on Tuesday, May 31 (based on availability). For the first time in the event’s history, all four of The Legend Golf Clubs will open its courses to veterans. A simultaneous moment of silence will be observed across all properties. Veterans are encouraged to call the golf course(s) directly to book a tee time.

ABOUT WISCONSIN PGA SECTION
Commemorating its centennial anniversary in 2022, The Wisconsin Section is one of the 41 sections that comprise the regional entities of the PGA of America. Over 500 members and associates belong to the Wisconsin Section, stretching from areas in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to almost the entire state of Wisconsin.
