The 37th Senior PGA Professional Championship will kick off on Thursday, October 23 and run until Sunday, October 26. This year’s championship will be hosted by PGA Golf Club for the 16th time.
The field once again features 264 PGA Professionals who are at least 50 years of age, representing all 41 PGA sections.
Representing the Wisconsin PGA are Ryan Helminen, David Roesch, Jim Schuman, Mick Smith and Eddie Terasa.
Roesch, Helminen and Terasa earned their way into the field via their play at the Wisconsin Senior PGA Professional Championship in July at The Bog. While Smith punched his ticket via an exemption for making the cut at the 2025 Senior PGA Championship in late May. Lastly, Schuman was able to earn an invitation to play after entries closed, via his status as the Wisconsin PGA’s first alternate.
Each player will play one round on the Dye and Wanamaker courses, before a 36-hole cut is made to the low 90 and ties. The final 36 holes will take place on the Wanamaker course, featuring another cut after round three to the low 70 and ties.
At stake is a purse of $350,000 and an exciting opportunity to earn a spot into the 2026 Senior PGA Championship for the top 35 finishers.
