The Legend Clubs led by Captain Paul LoCicero, PGA competed at Midwest regional; Concludes 2018 Wisconsin season
(Beloit Club, Sept. 15-16) The Legend Clubs, led byHead PGA Professional Paul LoCicero (The Legend at Bristlecone), made their Midwest Regional debut this past weekend at the Beloit Club. The All Stars representing the Nebraska PGA, Iowa PGA, Minnesota PGA and Wisconsin PGA played matches in a round robin style to determine the winner with the best overall record.
The TPC Twin Cities All Stars were victorious over the Dubuque All Stars 11.5 to 0.5, while the NorthWest (NE) All Stars defeated The Legend Clubs All Stars 9 to 3. In the afternoon, the TPC Twin Cities team won their second matchup againsg the NorthWest All Stars (NE) 11 to 1, while The Legend Clubs fell to Dubuque 8 to 4.
Going into the final round on Sunday, the TPC Twin Cities All Stars finished on top with a final victory SUnday morning to earn a 3-0 record. Dubuque finished runner-up with a 2-1 record. TPC Twin Cities earns a trip to the National Finals at Grayhawk Golf Club this November where it will be aired on the Golf Channel.
