The 2012 WPGA Nike Golf Las Vegas Pro-Am wrapped up on Thursday morning with plenty of sunshine and some warmer conditions. For the final round the 224 player field was split between Bear's Best and Arroyo GC. With all the groups having played the entire rotation of courses, the overall competition became the hot topic of the day.
With the trophies and title on the line The Bisbee's Golf Center group of Jeff Bisbee, JB Moseley, Sean Dwyer, Steve Moore and Jack Schwichtenberg finished strong with a victory in the daily 2 Net competition at Bear's Best. The daily victory was good enough to also propel them to a seven-shot win in the overall event. For the three days the team was able to put up a combined total score of 31-under-par 389. Jeff Bisbee led the way for the squad as he was also able to win two of three low professional competitions in stableford points.
Finishing in second place with a score of 396, was the Ryan Helminen led team featuring Richard Cortesi, Dan Thome, Richard Torres and Kerry Baugher.
The Wisconsin PGA would like to thank Nike Golf and their representatives Nick Jahnke, Barry Beckert and Jeff Thornhill for their support of the event for the 10th straight year. Between the great tee gifts, some fun daily competitions and a great prize for Dale Van Dam's hole-in-one, Nike Golf provided all the help that was needed to make it another terrific event.
