The 2011 WPGA / Nike Golf Las Vegas Pro-Am wrapped up this past Thursday, as thirty five teams from throughout the state of Wisconsin enjoyed a great week in the sun.  The event featured three great courses in Dragon Ridge CC, Desert Pines GC and Rio Secco GC with the lodging being provided by Planet Hollywood Resort.

In the end the competition was hard fought throughout the week as all six daily team events featured different winners.  However consistent top finishes from the Shorewood GC team of Bill Lindmark, Mike Welsing, Scott Lade, Pat McEvoy and Jim Bush left the fivesome on top of the leaderboard when all was said and done. 

The fivesome was able to sneak away with a one shot victory over the Ryan Helminen led Ridgeway G&CC squad and the Brad Peck led Nakoma GC team.  For the week the winning team managed to shoot an impressive 42-under-par, 396 total. 

Once again the trip would not of been a success without the help of title sponsor, Nike Golf.  Nick Jahnke and Barry Beckert put together a great gift package for all the participants and helped provide support to the WPGA staff all week.
